The Club at Firestone is a medium sized venue in downtown Orlando, FL. The venue is quirky, but well layed out. There are many different areas throughout the club, and each provides a unique atmosphere. There’s 3 bars througout the the building, helping keep the drinks flowing. The staff is friendly, and sometimes a little less than completely dressed.
The Dungeon is a small venue in North Orlando. Located behind a dive bar, populated mostly by local alcoholics, the Dungeon is not a prominent place and is easily missed when driving by. The building itself feels more like a large tool shack, or an outdoor garage.
Don’t let this fool you however: The Dungeon is a very cool place to see a show.
The Haven is a small / medium sized venue in Winter Park, FL. To walk into The Haven, it looks more like an old sports bar. The place is cool though. There’s a big bar separating a more tame area of the venue, from an area dedicated to the pit.
The Culture Room is a medium-small sized venue in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The venue has housed many great concerts. The layout of The Culture Room, like so many other places that offer Death Metal shows, is odd.
The Smiling Dog Saloon is a bar in Fort Myers, FL situated in a strip mall off of McGregor Blvd. The venue is small, and has billiars (in case you're bored).
Wills Pub is a small venue just north of downtown Orlando. The venue has a large selection of import beers. The venue does not have air conditioning, which is highly unusual for any business in Florida. There are plenty of fans around though, which helps mitigate the otherwise unbearable Florida heat.
The venue is divided into two sections: The main bar area, and the band area. The main bar area has a good selection of games to accompany it's large selection of brews. The band area is in a separate, sound-insulated, room.
Jannus Landing is a venue in St. Petersburg, FL. The venue derives it's name from the historic pilot who was the first to offer regular airline services in the entire world. The venue is mid-sized, with a capacity of roughly 2000 folks at a time. Jannus cites itself as Florida's oldest and largest outdoor venue.
