Bone Gnawer is a Gore style Death Metal band from Orlando, FL with members in Sweden. The band started in 2008 under the moniker Revolting. Revolting was to be a computer-only project. However, with more people voicing interest in joining, the project became a band and Bone Gnawer was born.
While the band presents an image of a typical Brutal Death Metal band, the actual sound of Bone Gnawer is anything but. The Swedish part of the band definitely plays their part to develop the sound, which is really good.

Screamhouse Recordings is a small studio on the east side of Orlando, FL. Built in a warehouse, Screamhouse specializes in recording heavier music, but is open to recording other formats as well. Basic prices for recording start at $35 / hr for basic recording, but the studio is open to bartering equipment for studio time. These days, that should be enough to get a number of bands recorded that might not otherwise.

The venue does not have air conditioning, which is highly unusual for any business in Florida. There are plenty of fans around though, which helps mitigate the otherwise unbearable Florida heat.
The venue is divided into two sections: The main bar area, and the band area. The main bar area has a good selection of games to accompany it's large selection of brews. The band area is in a separate, sound-insulated, room.

Aruspex is a Blackened-Death Metal band from Orlando, FL. Comparisons could easily be drawn to the notorious Marduk. The band is fairly active, and has some very good albums released. If you get a chance to see them live, it's definitely worth it.

Originally founded as Xecutioner in 1985, Obituary is one of the pioneers of Death Metal. Obituary is arguably the definitive Florida Death Metal band, sticking to the styles that have come to define what the vast majority of Florida Death Metal bands are.
The band was broken up in 1997, only to re-form 6 years later. The band recorded Frozen in Time 2 years after that, and has been back in the scene ever since.

Death is arguably, the first Death Metal band ever. Formed by Chuck Schuldiner in Altamonte Springs, FL in 1983, Death would become the first band ever to be described as Death Metal.
