Kam Lee is arguably the first singer to ever sing in the low tone 'Death' style that has come to define Death Metal. Kam started as the singer for Mantas, which later turned into Death. After leaving Death, Kam joined Massacre, alongside Bill Andrews (Death).

Massacre Disbands, Again.

Massacre, which recently reunited, is now dead again. Kam Lee has disbanded the group after citing harassment from Terry Butler (Six Feet Under, Massacre, Death) about personal matters.

Massacre

Massacre never really got off to anything much more than a few demo tapes turned albums. Their first album, “From Beyond”, is a classic example of early nineties Tampa area Death Metal. Recorded at the legendary Morrisound Studios, “From Beyond” is a good sampling of the earliest Death Metal ventures. Massacre didn’t last long. Their later albums were much less heavy.

Whtn the focus was lost, most of the band went to a later version of Death. The band temporarily reformed, but the reunion was short lived.

Massacre Building New Lineup

Massacre is coming back from the dead. The faces in the band will be a bit different than it's previous inception though. In fact, the only returning member from the original lineup is the venerable Kam Lee. Kam has spoken with a couple notables to fill both the bass and drum slots for the new lineup.
