Legendary label, Metal Blade, has a new podcast out with legendary bass player, Alex Webster. Alex discusses (over phone) the particulars about the recording of the new album, Evisceration Plague. The new album, produced by Erik Rutan (who contributed a lead on the last track of the album), is due out this month. Anything with Alex is always a good listen, so here it is:

The highly anticipated new Cannibal Corpse album, Evisceration Plague won't be released until February 3, 2009. Fortunately, we've found a way to let you listen to a few snippets of the new album.

There aren't enough words to describe the show I just saw. I can try though.

Six Feet Under guitarist Steve Swanson's home was burglurized on December 6, 2008. Theives made off with 6 guitars, a laptop computer, and a Mesa Boogie amp head. Swanson has setup a MySpace page with pictures of the equipment stolen. You can view that site here.

The band's latest album, Death Rituals, was released less than a month ago.
