Blessed For Extinction is Aruspex's second full length album since 2001's Revelations. Overall, the album is good, even though it is a bit short on content. Adding 2 live songs as filler definitely helps, especially since Aruspex performs very well live.

Fury and Flames, is the fouth album by Hate Eternal, seminal Death Metal band lead by the equally awesome Erik Rutan. The album is the first after the death of former bass player Jared Anderson. Erik made it clear this album was an emotional response to Jared's death.

If that's the case, then the emotion felt was utter dispair.

The first song on the album, Hell Envenom, is an absolute aural assault.

Holy fuck, Evisceration Plague is fucking amazing. The eleventh album by legendary Cannibal Corpse certainly does not disappoint. There are very few bands that even approach the level of awesome that Cannibal Corpse put into every album they create.

Riders of the Plague is the second album by The Absence. It was released on August 7, 2009 on Metal Blade. Riders is a lot of old school riffing, with a lot of new school ass-kicking. The band sounds a bit like Carcass, but that's not to say they're easily defined. Songs like Dead and Gone, and The Murders are amazing testaments to what the five piece from Tampa can accomplish.
